The École de Technologie Supérieur
The École de Technologie Supérieure is a university located in downtown Montreal and the 2nd in Canada to train future engineers. It admits students who have completed a technical DEC wishing to continue their training towards the engineering profession. However, it also welcomes students who graduate from a pre-university program, offering them an additional year to acquire technical knowledge.
ÉTS has an approach focused on the practical aspect found in industry and is recognized, among other things, for the numerous student groups that stand out during international competitions. These allow much more than applying the concepts seen in class. Large-scale projects constitute a complete experience that faithfully approximates business reality. Whether it is project management from A to Z, the development of essential skills in an engineer, the learning of technical notions as well as the experimentation of various manufacturing processes, ÉTS offers its students a favorable environment to the realization of the project by giving them access to specialized facilities.
